On Consistency

On Consistency

Consistency beats almost everything else. You can tweak your nutrition timing, pick the perfect split, and argue about rep ranges all day, and none of it matters if you can't keep showing up for months and years. Someone who trains at 70% four days a week for two years will beat the person who goes all out for three weeks, burns out, and disappears for a month. The repetition is what compounds, not any single great session.

Motivation won't carry you, so stop relying on it. You won't always feel like training. What keeps people going is removing friction: a gym close to home or work, a bag already packed, and a plan you've decided on before you walk in. Every decision you make in the moment is a chance to quit, so make as few as you can. Miss one workout and that's just life. Miss two in a row and a habit is forming in the wrong direction. Log every session, watch the streak grow, and never miss twice. The rest is details.

Ready to put this into practice? SconzoFit gives you the tools to log workouts, track nutrition, and stay consistent.
